Join us in designing and forming handles that elevate your pottery to new heights. Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll discover diverse handle-making techniques from pulling, slab-building, and extruding. You’ll gain insights into methods that blend functionality and artistic appeal exploring various styles and learn to match them with different vessel types. We will then discuss the nuances of handle placement, size, and proportions for a harmonious blend of form and function.

Beginners and experienced potters are welcome to expand their skills in adding distinctive handles to their creations with this inspiring workshop.

John Campbell

John has been a full-time production potter in the Dallas area for 4 years. His work focuses on clean, consistent and functional forms. John is incredibly passionate about teaching ceramics whether it be introducing someone to the processes for the first time or sharing a new perspective on the craft with those who are more familiar with clay.
