Join Lisset Bell in a fun and functional wall hook workshop at Clayworks. We’ll learn methods for making clay slabs, clay properties at different moisture levels, underglaze painting on unfired clay, hand make underglaze newsprint transfers, and other decorating techniques as time allows. 4 wall hooks are included with your workshop ticket but we’re happy to process more for an additional fee.
You will leave this workshop with the skills to get started working with slabs on your own in the studio or at home. We offer firing services at the studio for home potters for a low price. Check out our firing cost calculator on our website.
Wear clothing you wouldn’t mind getting dirty and short nails for the best experience. Inspo boards and sketches welcome and recommended.

Instructor Bio
Lisset Bell
Lisset has been chasing clay most of her life, taking every class she could to get access to this resource heavy medium. She has been making colorful pottery from her home studio for two years and is ready to share her passion with the world. Her practice is focused in finding her unique voice by blending sculpture with functionality and classic forms adorned in bright colors and contemporary imagery. She strives to hold on to her Mexican roots and long history of pottery back home while blending it with her distinctly American experience.
