Join Kelly in this one-day workshop designed to learn and practice surface design through sgraffito. This colorful technique can take work to the next level, adding depth, creativity, and texture. Each student will be given pre-made tumblers to practice on. Kelly will walk you through the process of painting on underglaze onto the greenware then carving through to reveal the clay underneath creating beautiful and intricate designs. An email will be sent to you with a pick-up date. Expect at least a 2 week turn-around.
No clay experience needed. All materials and firings are included.

Kelly McDonald
Kelly McDonald has been working in clay for four years. In this short time, pottery has become both a deep passion and a welcome outlet for creativity. She finds comfort in the vast range of possibilities presented by the craft of ceramics. There‘s always something new to explore, which means that her relationship with clay is constantly evolving. Kelly looks forward to ushering others into the craft she has come to love so much.
