What ages are allowed at FCS Clayworks?
Ages 13 years and up are allowed in any of our classes or workshops in the main warehouse space. Memberships are also available for this age group for independent workers.
We do allow children ages 9-12 in certain one-time workshops with purchase of an adult ticket.
How does the kiln firing service work and what is the schedule?
Do you have kilns for rent?
If I were a beginner what classes should I take?
What is a Day Pass?
- business hours access (Tuesday-Sunday 9-7)
- free 7lbs of clay
- half-price bisque and glaze firings for pieces made from the provided clay
- access to approved tools
- access to studio glazes for work completed, from the provided clay, at FCS Clayworks
Do you offer studio time for groups or parties?
What do I need to bring for a multi-week class?
Please bring a beginners pottery tool kit, a 2 to 3 quart water bucket, towel, and please review the description of your purchased class for additional items needed.
What should I do if I miss a class or workshop at FCS Clayworks? Do you offer a credit or may I attend a different class?
What happens if there are less than 3 seats filled in my class?
I took a class or workshop, when will my work be ready?
If you have not received a message from your instructor to pick up your item within 4 weeks, then please contact us here.
Do you offer walk-in or one-on-one classes?
At this time we cannot accommodate walk-in classes. If you are looking for a one-on-one session, please contact us here.
WHAT CAN i use my discount codes for?
Discount codes are applicable to all classes and workshops except for visiting artist events. Discount codes are not applicable on memberships due to the discount structure already available to those.
Can I split my studio or membership with someone?
No. Our membership and private studio pricing are intended for one person.
