You will learn how to wedge clay and center on the wheel, as well as throwing foundational forms like mugs, small vases, and bowls. You will also learn trimming and glazing techniques to complete your pieces.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to explore the endlessly rewarding craft of making pottery on the wheel. Whether you’re completely new or looking to refine your skills, Katey offers a supportive environment to create beautiful and unique ceramics.

Clay is provided and we will take care of firing your finished work. Students are encouraged to bring their own tools if they have them. Tool kits are also available for purchase at the studio.
