Beginner Throwing

This course will introduce the fundamentals of throwing clay on the wheel. Class begins with the essentials from wedging to learning to properly center. Hyesoo offers excellent hands-on instruction teaching students the fundamentals of making cups, mugs and bowls. Learn alteration methods like sculpting, darting, and faceting, as well as forming handles, and trimming feet feet. There is ample time to practice through repetition and create a cohesive designed set or you can explore though more iterative, open-ended experimentation. Class culminates with learning to glaze your pots. Final work will available 3-4 weeks after last class.
