Join our instructor, Katey, in this 5-week class to learn the fundamentals of working with clay. You will learn how to wedge clay and center on the wheel, throw basic forms like mugs, small vases, and bowls. You will also learn trimming and glazing techniques to complete your pieces.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to explore the therapeutic and creative process of pottery. Whether you’re completely new or looking to refine your skills, Katey offers a supportive environment to create beautiful and unique ceramics.

Clay is provided and we will take care of firing your finished work. Tool kits will be available for purchase at the studio.

Katey Loveless

With 6 years of ceramics experience and 3 years dedicated to teaching, Katey brings both skill and heart to the studio. Her passion lies in creating unique and functional wheel-thrown art. Driven by a love for the creative process and the joy of sharing it with others, Katey fosters a welcoming, supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore their own artistic voices. As an instructor, she thrives on building community and guiding individuals at all levels to develop confidence and creativity through clay.
