Friday Evenings
January 30th - February 20th
6:30-9:00PM
*Class Does Not Meet 2/13*

Join us for this three-week class dedicated to creating low and wide forms: serving bowls, large platters, and charger plates. Designed for intermediate potters, this workshop will enhance your skills on the pottery wheel while also introducing new techniques using slab and drape molds. Over the course of three sessions, you will gain valuable experience and confidence in working with larger quantities of clay enabling you to build substantial pieces that are both functional and refined.
At the end of the course, your finished greenware vessels will be fired to bisque and can be taken home for glazing and firing, or you can opt to finish them using our glazes and kiln firing program for an additional fee. Bring 50 pounds of your preferred clay and personal tools. We will have basic tool kits and boxes of clay available for purchase at the studio upon request. You’ll have several personally designed serving platters, improved wheel-throwing skills, and a deeper understanding of both wheel and slab techniques. Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your pottery repertoire!
