$75.00

May 17th, 2024
Friday, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join Lisset Bell for a cute and functional butter dish workshop! It’s never too late to learn ceramics. Lisset will guide you through how to shape an organic form. You will be making a countertop butter dish, then using sculptural techniques and underglaze to decorate it. You’ll be using the pinching technique, so expect organic shapes. Check out the pictures for examples. Possibilities are endless!

This workshop is designed to help you produce a one-of-a-kind piece. You’re encouraged to bring in sketches or inspiration. Reach out to Lisset via email or Instagram with any questions before the workshop.

Once completely dry, your butter dish will take a ride in the kiln before being glazed and fired again. We’ll email you with a pick-up date. Expect at least a 2 week turn-around.

Pro tip: short nails make working with clay a little easier.
